Book Club News

Redbery Books has several groups that meet regularly to discuss great books. All groups are are open to new members. Book club members will receive 10% off all books purchased on their book club meeting day!!!  Here’s the current list of book clubs:

Redbery TeenReads is the newest of the book clubs.  It's an on-line club for teens in grades 6 and up and participants meet through a Facebook group:  Redbery TeenReads!!  The first book selection is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - it's an extremely well-written love story about Grace (a human) and Sam (a part-time human, part-time werewolf).  It's full of drama and unexpected twists - the kind of book you want to read again immediately and talk about with your friends.  Current and prior selections of Redbery TeenReads.

The below groups meet at Redbery Books, downtown Cable, unless otherwise noted. 

Men’s Book Discussion group meets the first Thursday each month at 6:30 p.m.  Current and prior selections of the Men's Book Discussion group.

Word of Mouth book club meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  In March, the Word of Mouth book club will meet on Tuesday, the 9^th.  Current and prior selections of the Word of Mouth Book Club.

T.H.U.R.S. (The Highly Unusual Reader Society) book club meets the second Thursday each month at 3:00 p.m.  Current and prior selections of the T.H.U.R.S. Book Club.

Chapter & Verse, a book club for adults who enjoy children’s literature, meets the third Thursday each month at 6:30 p.m.  Current and prior selections of the Chapter & Verse Book Club.

Mystery Lovers book club meets irregularly at 6:30 p.m. and will next meet Tuesday, March 9, 2010 in a joint meeting with the Word of Mouth book club.  Check the events calendar or upcoming events for other dates.  Call for the location.  Current and prior selections of the Mystery Lovers Book Club.

Summer Book Discussion meets irregularly.
