Jane's Picks

I am a lifelong avid reader who has spent my professional life in the book business - both bookselling and publishing.  My favorites are literary fiction and well written mysteries and thrillers.  Generally I intersperse my reading of them.  My lifetime favorite authors are Wallace Stegner, John Fowles, Toni Morrison and Shirley Hazzard.  Mystery writers that I love are Robert Goddard, Steve Hamilton, Deborah Crombie, Wilkie Collins, etc. etc.
