Meet the Author: Peter Geye, author of The Lighthouse Road

Redbery Books proudly presents ...
Peter Geye

Peter Geye

interviewed by

Eric Schubring

The Lighthouse Road
Peter Geye, author of Safe From the Sea, has a new book entitled The Lighthouse Road.  This triumphant new novel is set against the wilds of the sea and the woods near Duluth, beginning in the 1890's when a Norwegian immigrant woman finds herself abandoned in this new country.  It spans generations with complexity and well-wrought characters.
Eric Schubring, radio personality on WOJB and member of the Namakagon String Band, will be interviewing Peter Geye about his novels, his perspective on being an author, and life in the northwoods.  Maybe he'll bring his banjo.
Telemark Resort was recently chosen from 50,000 applicants to be on The Travel Channel's show Hotel Impossible.  One of the things that the public is invited to see before the "big reveal" when the show airs in January is the "hospitality room" off the main lobby.  This is where Peter Geye will be reading from his new novel and participating in a "moderated conversation" with Eric Schubring.

Book Launch Party: Singer by Kerry Casey

Kerry Casey, author of Fall to Grace, read from and signed his new book, Singer

Small town life can be epic.  And everyday humanity often provides life's most riveting lessons.

Could it be that a child is the only salvation for someone who has suffered profoundly?  In Singer, the highly acclaimed sequel to Fall to Grace, the love of a gifted four-year old boy and his single mother are the only hope for a hardened young man who can't seem to outrun tragedy.
