Spirit Falls Author coming to Redbery Books!

Robert Townsend, author of Spirit Falls, will be at Redbery Books on Saturday, May 1 2010 4:00p.m.

Spirit Falls is set in the empty hardscrabble borderland between Michigan's Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin. In addition to telling a tale of love and sacrifice, of first generation immigrants in a rough country, Spirit Falls tells a tale of adventure as the characters find themselves in the teeth of a 100 year Lake Superior storm.

Robert Townsend, was born and raised on a farm in northern Wisconsin and writes of a life he has witnessed. Townsend is a retired Air Force officer who was a deputy chief at the CIA from 1982 - 1989. Prior to that, he worked as a signals intelligence officer in Germany and flew combat missions in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

Come meet Robert Townsend and hear him read from Spirit Falls on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Redbery Books. He will also be available for questions and book signing.
