Skip Perkins to share stories about climbing mountains in Colorado

Skip Perkins, retired fifth grade teacher from Drummond and active mountain climber, will be at the Rivers Eatery on the evening of Tuesday, July 13th to talk about his experiences climbing 14,000-foot mountains, of which he has summitted 48!  Skip is featured in Halfway to Heaven by Mark Obmascik.    The author writes that Skip "had the enthusiasm of a little boy.  He was five foot eight and looked like he could bench-press a Volkswagen".  Come join Skip and share your own stories of high adventure!
