Google eBooks

What happened to Google eBooks?

Google eBooks are still around and you can rest assured that your entire library of Google eBooks remain yours.  You can download and read your Google eBooks from Google with your Google account.  You can even continue to download and read your Google eBooks directly from our website.

Google has, however, terminated our ability to sell Google eBooks.  While you will continue to have access to your Google eBooks, you are no longer able to purchase Google eBooks from Redbery Books.

With our partnership with Kobo, Redbery Books is not only selling eBooks, Redbery Books is also selling an award-winning line of eReaders to complete your eReading experience right here at Redbery.

Are there other advantages with your partnership with Kobo?

Yes.  First, Kobo has a library of 3 million eBooks available for purchase.  This is a vastly larger number of eBooks than were available from Google.  Our selection of eBooks available for purchase has greatly expanded.  Second, Kobo determines the pricing of each eBook and Kobo is pricing eBooks aggessively with respect to other major eBook retailers.  You should find eBooks from Kobo very competitively priced.

And importantly, Kobo is all about being open so you can read however you want. Once you download their free app to you smartphone, desktop, or tablet, your eBooks, PDFs, ePubs, and even your bookmarks, are in sync – start on one device and pick up on another and never lose your place. Read freely.
