Redbery Books

This fictional, yet historically accurate, story of African American maids in the South provoked emotions of both sadness of what was, and concern that it might still be.  This book was a great summer read, with each chapter from the perspective of three different maids and a white cotton farmer's daughter who has enough bravery to help herself and the maids reach personal catharsis.
